I always get my feet wet with normal and then when its achievement time, I go the hardest and spend 6 months trying to beat it as I did with the 1st one. What makes me sadder still is the fact that right now I'm living at my girlfriends parents house until middle of next month when we move into our own place. I very much doubt we will get around to sorting out an Internet connection until the new year. Single player all the way for me, which, if were being honest, is probably fucking amazing anyway! adammuzzy Posted November 11, 2009 Share Posted November 11, 2009 liking the multiplayer a lot. one of the weirdest things for me is having scavenger perk instead of badolier, you're kinda forced to walk over the bodies of people you killed, which was the exact opposite of what i would do in cod4 with so many people using martyrdom. minty Posted November 11, 2009 Share Posted November 11, 2009 been playing most of the day...awesome game! but yeah, that airport level is just ridiculous. i never played COD4 single player before, but i just don't have a clue what's going on in the story...i can't even tell if there is a story line or not, it just seems like random missions to me. Hopefully I can beat it in the morning, stud ya bit for my test, then try out some multiplayer. 1000/1000 achievements will be pretty hard on this game with the special ops missions. If you want to get easy kill and piss people off, use the grenade launcher and aim low. Also play around with guns til you find something that fits your style. I'm not all that accurate with the controller (always been used to mouse+keyboard) and tend to miss easy kills, etc. just make sure your sensitivity is low. and for me, if you're having a hard time getting the aimer to land right on the dude while moving the gun around, try leaving the gun in the same place and strafing. I'm dying a lot more then I did in 4, but it's a lot more fun with the challenge. I think I'm almost at the end, then on to veteran and online play.
