Although I'm pretty sure Taco Bell is franchised so if someone owned a couple in your area, they might have gotten out of the game and shut down all of them. jcamps Posted November 17, 2009 Share Posted November 17, 2009 thats horrible. there are a serious shortage of taco bells in boston, i've already lost a little bit of the 20lbs i gained this summer eating it everyday back home because i rarely ever make the bike pilgrimage to cambridge to get some. The one in the food court of the mall I used to work at closed on January 1st, but that was because the mall's already retardedly high rent saw something like a 30% hike. Half the food court left. The people here seem to think it's a goddamn tragedy. They still, TO THIS DAY, talk about it - it was even in the newspaper today. Rumors about a new one opening abound but, much to everyone's dismay, are unsubstantiated. I think I need to look into franchising the motherfucker and sell it once the novelty wears off. Have you noticed how there are almost no taco bells in city limits in pittsburgh? I can't think of any...
