riddle350
"yes it is true this will be the last hrc tour. thank you so much for coming to shows and buying our records for the past ten years. it has been a blast and we have made so many friends and fans and we will miss you all. stay tuned for more info on what everyone from hrc is up to. i will be sure to keep you posted. oh and thanks to everyone over in australia for showing us a good time. " the 2 gregs,aj,darren,& mj" This sucks. I wasn't able to go see them the last time they came through Seattle. Now I won't get another chance. Yet another band that I never got to see. Fuck this. sgoodcore
I saw them once. I think they were playing with Lars and the Bastards - yeah odd I know. With all the line-up changes the break-up seemed inevitable.

jacobe
They really did peak at "Sorry About Tomorrow" but the last few releases have had some real jams on them and they always were a good live band.
xunspokenliesx
That's a bummer, I'm glad I caught them the last time out here...

mrc
I thought they broke up like 3 years ago. Yeah, i had no idea they were still around. But they did put on a killer show. i saw them open for Alkaline trio in orlando - maybe 5 years ago.

monk0nuggets
I really don't like feeling happy when bands break up, but this is a band I just didn't like at all. Everything about them just seemed so generic. Maybe I'm missing something...
kirbypuckett
They had a few good songs, this doesn't bother me.
ps
I saw them once. American Nightmare, HRC, Avail in Richmond in that order. The place went apeshit for AN, then comatose for HRC, then apeshit again for Avail. That was the first and last time I ever heard their music. goddamn that was a pointless story, sorry. flood
i think hrc only played on ridiculous shows... i saw them with atom and his package, the explosion, and some other misplaced band i can't remember.
kurtmanner
I saw them six or seven times. I really enjoy them, but seeing them so much had more to do with living in CT. I saw them with The Get Up Kids three times I believe. Twice with Saves the Day. That includes one time with both of those bands. I've seen them headline in New Haven a couple times and there's some random ones in there elsewhere. This breakup doesn't surprise me and I definitely feel it's for the better. They went downhill. scottheisel
I booked this band's first-ever tour show back in June '99 with the Jazz June. They were nice. I still have their first EP, too; that shit is so good.
