axlrose
Scott, can I ask you about your logo? I saw a video in the gym yesterday (I think the band was Metro Station) and one of the guys had a shirt with a dude with a little handkerchief over the face (though I think he lacked the adapter eyes). Is that from some other logo I don't know about or is it just one of those well used pieces of clip art (like the VC logo). Pardon my ignorance. scottheisel
Really? I'm not aware of this shirt. As far as I know, my logo was created from scratch by a co-worker of mine.

jasonskanks
never really heard of metro station but i just looked through 16 pages of pictures of them to find this, is this the one you are talking about?
scottheisel
You gotta be shitting me. Well, they definitely have similarities, but I don't think it's the exact same design.
axlrose
Nope not identical. Like I said, it was a video I saw in passing. I just caught it for a second and went, "Wow, that's amazing for Scott." The more I thought about it the less sense it made that he was sporting your label logo in a video that was probably shot months ago. EDIT: On a side note I just looked up the video on youtube and that outfit in the picture is the exact same outfit he wore in the video...Creepy. scottheisel
Bumping before the next decade rolls around. If you haven't checked out the four new songs on their myspace, I highly recommend doing so, they're incredible: http://www.myspace.com/thefelixculpa I recommend "Our Holy Ghosts" and "An Instrument." daniel
Just ordered a copy on clear! Hey Scott, is this a gatefold?
steviex2shoes
I'm thinking of going to the show at the metro on the 23rd with some friends it'll be sweet!
scottheisel
Just ordered a copy on clear!Hey Scott, is this a gatefold? Unfortunately, doing a gatefold would've been cost-prohibitive -- the band and I wanted to, but it was just too much money. I can tell you, though, that they had the record remastered specifically for vinyl and it sounds phenomenal!

scottheisel
no gatefold!? and it's 2x12?!?!?? bummmmmmmmmerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrbut still stoked I know, like I said, the band and I were bummed, too. But plenty of double LPs aren't gatefold, and I promise you it won't affect how awesome the music is.
daniel
The Bled's Silent Treatment was a double LP with no gatefold but they printed quality jackets and it's a nice package. The same cannot be said for Copeland's latest though
vedant
The first show I ever went to was to see the Felix culpa at the vfw in the neighborhood across mine. I have not heard anything from them in ages but I will definitely try to make it out to that show, otherwise I'll be ordering online. This is actually super cool
