travis
I actually like this album. Ive never been disappointed by Rancid. I dont know if the regular version of this is on 180 gram tho, sorry!
burntwolf
i call this a guilty pleasure, but i was surprised how much i listen to it. i just can't take them seriously and they get goofier all the time. i didn't like indestructible and i really dislike 2000. i wasn't too into life won't wait when it came out, but i do now and i like it better on 2xlp. i really like the first 3. ximperfectx
The discs are nice and thick, and appear heavier than Paramore's Brand New Eyes which was apparently pressed on 160g. So I would say yes, they are 180g, but could be wrong. Great album by the way.
travis
Oh man I loved 2000. I dunno, Ive been into everything they have done so far. I agree the older albums are better and nothing will ever top And Out Come The Wolves in my opinion. There will be a Hot Topic exclusive color of And Out Come The Wolves soon. I was just about to make a thread about it...

burntwolf
it is weird the epitaph store says 'heavy vinyl' on the regular pressing but goes out of the way to say 180g for the deluxe set. i was hoping they would put out the acoustic lp separately, but no such luck. ximperfectx
i was hoping they would put out the acoustic lp separately, but no such luck. The acoustic songs are amazing too, just give the songs a totally different atmosphere. Anyone able to bootleg it?
lifebystereo
i still don't understand how people dislike s/t 2000 Seriously. Rancid have never put out anything I disliked (well, in terms of albums), but I especially don't understand how much shit that album gets. travis
Next to AOCTW I think 2000 might actually be my next favorite Rancid album.
kyacrash
2000 is the shit!!! Indestructible grew on me, and everything prior is great. not too fond of the new album, even the acoustic versions just dont sound that good to me. (i love everything acoustic rancid's done previously though)

gutterpunk79
every rancid album rules! I like them all, but if I had to pick one that I like the less it would be 2000
One Hundred Fifty-Two
Only two i rock on a regular basis are AOCTW and Let's Go.
mattstrike
Rancid 2000 is the album that made me give them a second chance. It was embarrasing how good it was.

burntwolf
rancid 2000 i find just awful. way forced reactionary songwriting in reaction to the response life won't wait got. just seemed super lazy to me and totally uninteresting. and i like matt's songs a lot usually, but that album just does nothing for me at all. the only thing i found worse was prob their side of the nofx/rancid split. nofx really made rancid songs sound like nofx songs and put some thought into it. rancid's side was so blah and just made nofx songs sound like crap. indestructible i never have any interest in listening to either tho. I just dont understand how you don't like 2000. or even like indestructible but you're into the new album. I mean indestructible really isnt that far from the new album and I'd much rather listen to 2000 over both of those. Rancid should just realize that they'll never top AOCTW. Anyone else notice that Lars seems to not be doing vocals as much anymore either?

gojira
I seriously don't get the hate on Dominoes. It's maybe even my favorite record of theirs.
davezer
I seriously don't get the hate on Dominoes. It's maybe even my favorite record of theirs. Seriously?! wow. it's your opinion, so i'm not gonna hate on it. I just find it impossible to understand any of the lyrics on that album. Tim Armstrong has developed mush mouth pretty badly.
