flood
i was a little skeptical of seeing frank on a huge stage with a full band... but he fucking killed it last night. Considering he played in front of a crowd that had never seen him before, they were eating it up. Dude's going to be HUGE.

One Hundred Fifty-Two
I am so happy I'm going to the Flogging Molly tour with Frank Turner. He killed it solo on the Gaslight tour and have high hopes for the full band. How are "the architects" that are also opening?

scottheisel
Wait, does he have a full band on this Flogging Molly tour? I thought he was just doing it solo.

Guest markovianprocess
I've seen him do both and I agree, full band sets are much better. I think I've still got my tickets from two 2007 shows.
brentoage
the 3 solo shows that i saw him perform last month in Toronto were fantastic. he's just so much fun to be in the same room as, accompanied by good friends and lots of beer. drinker
So Frank is playing after the architects? That's good news. I thought I read somewhere that he was opening the shows, and thought it was wierd. Going to Indy and Chicago, so I'm pumped. I've seen Frank twice solo, but never with the full band. Can't wait! The solo show at the Horseshoe was one of the best gigs I've been to. Wish he was selling the LI&S vinyl.

jawbroken
he played with a full band at asbury lanes, i'm so jealous of my friends.
jonnywreck
i filmed a buncha stuff for this tour if anyone wants to check it out. http://www.youtube.com/user/peopleinglasshouses7#p/a it's my youtube channel.
throwingstars
I've only seen him once and that was solo. I think the studio stuff with the band is great-most of it. But some of his full band songs sound even more urgent with just him and his guitar.
benchwarmer
last night was awesome, sounded so good with a full band. flogging molly fans are disgusting though.
magicbulletrecords
Richmond got lucky with this tour - we got a one-off show with Frank and his band as the headliner (no Dropkick Floggys or whatever). They absolutely nailed it in spite of only 40 people or so being there. I guarantee he won't be playing to 40-people rooms in a couple years. Way too much talent to go unnoticed. baseballhotdog
Gainesville got lucky a couple of weeks ago, too. A night off the FM tour, so we got a headlining show. The club was packed. A very good night! I feel fortunate to have been there. Richmond got lucky with this tour - we got a one-off show with Frank and his band as the headliner (no Dropkick Floggys or whatever). One Hundred Fifty-Two
The Milwaukee show I'm going to sold out the "club room" so it's being moved to the "ballroom." He is going to have a huge crowd to play to.
scottheisel
Unfortunately, that huge crowd will be full of Flogging Molly fans in "KISS ME I'M SHITFACED" T-shirts and sensible slacks.
drinker
Frank had to cancel in Detroit tonight. Just a heads-up in case anyone is going. http://www.frank-turner.com/blog.html
jay1
Did anyone see him when he played in Pittsburgh? He played with Roger Harvey aka Dandelion Snow..former guitarist of The Code and he has Chris #2 workin on his new record. I think he's a great songwriter as well..worth checking out.
