coldsnap Posted March 1, 2010 Share Posted March 1, 2010 so me and a dude from the hostel i am right now, who was also canadian went to the union square sports bar in SF, and it was really weird atmosphere. first, the sound of the tv was really low, which sucked at the first place, cause we could barely hear the commentator, even tho he sucked, we couldn't hear the crowd and all that. so yeah, when canada scored the first goal, i thought that it would only be me and the dude i was with who would cheered for canada, but i was surprised at how many canadians were there or maybe we were just beeing loud, haha. but yeah, i hope this game will make people from san francisco enjoy hockey more, cause people were really just going crazy for when usa made big hits ahah, maybe cause american football is popular down here, and when there's hits, it's what looks the most similar to american football. we needed to win this game in vancouver, and i am glad we did Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
