porchlight
Hey People, I opened a coffee shop in Seattle that also sells vinyl. It's called Porchlight and it's on Capitol Hill. www.porchlightcoffee.com If anyone has any records they want to sell, get in touch with me. Or if people want to buy records, there's stuff from all of these bands: Russian Circles American Football Defiance, Ohio Weakerthans Gorilla Biscuits Rocky Votolato Drag The River This Will Destroy You Lymbyc Systym Red Sparowes Bruce Springsteen Al Green Otis Redding Sam Cooke

circlingvultures
Sounds like an awesome place. I would love a coffee/vinyl place like that here. Although I would spend entirely too much time/money there.
porchlight
It's still a relatively small selection, only a couple hundred total. Most of the used stuff is pretty standard--Springsteen, Otis Redding, Beatles, Elvis Costello, and stuff. The newer stuff is mostly a selection of things you can only find at shows or online. I just applied for a liquor license, so there will be coffee, beer, records and the occasional show. Come hang out!

porchlight
Awesome! The shop is about half a block from Chop Suey. It's in between Pine and Pike on 14th. The new Sonic Boom is about ten blocks away.

willbratt
Sounds awesome! I'll have to stop there next time I'm in Seattle. I'm not SUPER familiar with Capital Hill, but is your shop anywhere near In The Bowl (vegetarian restaurant)?
porchlight
In the Bowl is the best food around. I love it. It's about a 10-15 minute walk. There's a fancy vegan place two blocks away from here called Plum that you should try if you have extra cash to spend. It's fuuuckin' delicious.
