magalvsr13
liked it better when they were folk-punk-anarchists

mattisr1984
haha nah, ill just wait for mine to show up.is it good? does it sound like miss machine? Yes and yes. Pretty much Miss Machine 2.0. sure, but i dont particularly think ire works was too far removed from miss machine. basically, if you like what DEP has done w/ puciato as the frontman -- then you will dig it. for me, the only complaint ive ever been able to level against DEP post-dimitri has been tracks like unretrofied and black bubblegum which is where it gets a little too poppy for my taste. just not what i want to hear from them. i like my DEP to be destructive. troymess
My favorite album is still Calculating Infinity. However, I look at Dillinger Escape Plan in different phases. I feel that anything with Greg has been excellent, but in a completely different way. There is not much difference between Miss Machine and Ire Works. I even enjoy Ire Works just the same. I even like the pop-oriented tracks. This new album is another release along the same lines.
darknesscomesalive
i love dep but I have to ask; is puciato still doing his best to sound like trent reznor 50% of the time? or am I the only one who hears that?

mattisr1984
calculating infinity will always be the best thing DEP has done. i didnt really get much of a trent reznor vibe from puciato this time around but ive only had a chance to listen to it once though. monk0nuggets
I may be in the minority, but I think everything pre-Miss Machine is pretty not good. Greg is by far the superior vocalist.
alertthemute
This album is super fucking fun to listen to. Definitely digging it.
mcm1610
I can't really get into pre-Greg DEP, but I haven't liked either recent album as much as Miss Machine. That album is tittilicious.
bizarospeak
"Pretty much Miss Machine 2.0." I don't see this at all. This one is hard to catagorize. I listened to it enough to absorb a little bit, as I want it to be fresh when my vinyl come but from what I've hard Dillinger is one of the few bands making progress as a band anymore! mcm1610
I don't think it's MM2.0 either. It seems right in progression from Ire Works.
