jhulud
What is metal nowadays anyways?... Down - III: Over The Under I have been a fan of this band since day one. Moreso on the fact that I am a huge Corrosion of Conformity fan and Pepper Keenan is in Down as well. Not to mention Phil Anselmo formerly of Pantera. This record brought back the dirty swagger of their style of Southern metal and it was good. They expanded on the blueprint they created with their previous records and pushed it further along. Not many bands can pull off the sound these guys create. I'm a fan...

Guest falloutcollapse
Every Time I Die-The Big Dirty. This was a combination sound of Hot Damn! and the newer singing ETID stuff. It was perfect for me. I've already listened to it on vinyl about 20 times since Saturday!
riddle350
I think I'm the only one who didn't like The Big Dirty. I just thought the whole thing was really boring. I still haven't been able to get through the whole thing.

boizee
Baroness - Red Album Holla. I second that. When I get the vinyl version (hopefully) sometime in 2008 it could qualify for the best of next year, too. In a way.
