flood
I normally wouldn't resort to the sad bastard/woe is me story.. but this is a very special set of circumstances. Ok anyone who knows me, knows that my house is practically a dog rescue. I currently share my home with 4 rescue dogs....two lab/chow mixes, and two pitbulls. One of my dogs suffered a rather serious injury and while he recovered from the wounds, it seems that he now has a dislocated patella, and a torn ACL as a result of it. The surgery to correct it is going to run a couple thousand dollars which i don't have, and since i love my dogs more than pretty much anything else not having the surgery isn't an option. I'm going to be selling a ton of records in hopes of raising the money to get the operation as quickly as possible.. please take a look below and make an offer on anything that you're interested in, most of the rarer stuff will probably end up on ebay... but i'm willing to entertain reasonable offers on just about anything. It kills me to part with some of this stuff, but i consider my dogs my kids so its up for sale. or you can check out our webstore at www.asbestosrecords.bigcartel.com Rarer Asbestos Releases Bomb the Music Industry! / O Pioneers!!! – VC Exclusive Red Cover Bomb the Music Industry! / O Pioneers!!! – CTSKA Exclusive Green Cover Bomb the Music Industry! / O Pioneers!!! – Record Release Cover Bomb the Music Industry! - Goodbye Cool World Record Release Cover Bomb the Music Industry! - Goodbye Cool World RED/WHITE/CLEAR Bomb the Music Industry! - album minus band (fest press - glow in the dark cover) Bomb the Music Industry! - to leave or die (picture disc /100) Bomb the Music Industry! - to leave or die (jawbreaker vinyl /100) Andrew Jackson Jihad - Holiday in(n) cambodia FEST PRESSING #3/100 I also have test pressings for most of our releases available... if theres a particular one you want.. just ask! wtfomfg666
Sent you $20...I've been there and I know how ridiculous vet bills can be. Tbqh I find it rather distasteful and disgusting how much vets charge these days. Are any of them actually in it for the animals or just to make a quick buck? Anyways, I hope your puppy gets better and the surgery goes well...I'll be praying for him/her.

geezfools
I'll try and get some money over to you tomorrow on payday. Have you looked into any vets who do donation/cheaper work on rescue dog type of situations like this? Not sure if you live near a big city or something, but I know there is some shit like that out here in seattle/tacoma. Good luck dude! flood
thanks man! a couple of years ago i had adopted a crippled lifetime gaurd dog .. the poor pit lived his entire life outside and slept next to a wood burning stove at a landscaping nursery... it took me a week to get the sap and soot off him... i spent like $6K over the 3 years i had him on fighting a spinal infection that kept coming back... still one of the most wonderful dogs i've ever met... to take that much abuse and still love people. I'm a sucker.. i'd probably have another 4 if i had more room

protagonist
As someone whose profession is veterinary medicine, I can certainly sympathize with your situation. Medical bills for animals, much like for people, are very high sometimes...especially when it comes to major surgery like the TPLO or extra-capsular ACL repair, and lux-patella correction, that you are probably facing for your furry buddy. The tremendous cost of running and maintaining a vet hospital would blow your mind folks, seriously. So for the poster who suggested that most vets are in it for the money, you couldn't be more wrong. Flood, pm me...maybe I can be of assistance in some way. If nothing else, I will also make a donation and/or buy something from you. Best of luck, Brendan

Best of luck, Brendan oh i'm definitely not of the mindset that my vet is screwing me... he's really wonderful, and has been great to me and my dogs & cats... he's also the one who would be doing the surgery and the fact that i know him makes me a lil calmer about the situation. If the dude was in it for the money he would have become a human doctor, and not get bit or pissed on constantly by frightened animals. protagonist
Yeah, never got the impression you were concerned man...it was another poster who mentioned that veterinarians were in it for the $$ Anyway, hit me up if you need any help with meds, etc. And regardless, good luck to you and your kids
geezfools
not sure if you were talking about my post, not intended for it to come across that vets are in it for the money. I think some are and there are some genuine vets out there, who, will do "freebie" surgeries when it comes down to it. Knowing you have a relationship with your vet is good. The vet we've had for the past 3 years is a cocksucker and has made me keep one eye open when it comes to them. We're "shopping" for a new vet that is suited to our pets needs. Good luck dude!
