imaminorthreat
Hey, I remember there was a thread about this a couple weeks back, but now I can't find it anymore. One of my white whale's is on ebay and I can't risk missing it. What's the best website for ebay sniping? Let me know, this is a life or death auction for me. Thanks! psychoriley
People actually pay someone to do this? I guess maybe ONLY if there is something you really want and can't be on the computer when the auction ends.... I would think if I really wanted it, I'd be at my computer. Why didn't I think of starting up a snipe site, get paid to do this for people, I think that's kinda crazy. Wonder how much money they make doing this. thisisahiijack
personally, when i choose to use ebay (which hasn't been a single time this year) i only use auctionsniper unless its a BIN. its just easier, because i know i will probably not be at the computer when the auction ends. One Hundred Fifty-Two
How will auction sniper prevent someone from placing a higher bid?
Guest
i like to manually snipe with a couple (or three) tabs... i have one to refresh/monitor the price and an extra tab(s) with a bid ready to be placed in a single click.
mmhmm
How will auction sniper prevent someone from placing a higher bid? This is an excellent question. I'm guessing they only get paid for their services if they successfully win the auction and do it within whatever price range/limit the individual sets. gabpower
There are free softwares that do just that easily. JBidwatcher f.e.
hollisbrown
Why not just max your bid at what you're willing to pay?
thisisahiijack
because if you put your bid in at the last few seconds people have less time to come in and outbid you, usually letting you win the item at a reduced price to what it would have been otherwise. these are my experiences, anyways. i rarely ever lost anything with auctionsniper and won most of it at great prices. That's exactly what I do. Keep a few pages open and each window has a higher bid than the other. It makes it easier and a lot quicker to place multiple bids. nicole
Why not just max your bid at what you're willing to pay? My thought exactly. If you want it really badly, just place a really high max bid that no one will be willing to top.

kittenmittons
People actually pay someone to do this? shit that anticipation stalking out an auction is the most awesome part of ebay. if you're not willing to put in the time and work to snag an album you love you should be ashamed of yourself.
