flood
if you don't like the price, don't pay it. every thread now seems to devolve into... why is it this price? people price products at prices they think they will sell at... in the case of Nofx .. they know full well that a good deal of this crap will be immediately flipped on ebay, and that coupled with the rising cost of vinyl records .. they figure why don't we make a couple extra bucks on the deal instead of some schmuck. if you don't agree with the pricing structure.. don't buy it. I don't blame labels for bumping prices a bit... most record stores are selling LPs for 13-17 nowadays anyways... Lps were 8-10 when i was a kid... and i'm ok with a little inflation over 17 years.. Guest markovianprocess
Thank you. I'm so sick of hearing people complain about what is $15 today and what will most likely be $50 in a years time.

magicbulletrecords
Not to play devil's advocate, but... No Idea charges $8 for an LP before shipping. I usually charge no more than $11.99 ppd. They've been around for 25 years, and I've been around for 15. We all make very, very, very comfortable livings. If you're paying $17 for an LP, you're a sucker and deserve to be parted from your money. Real talk.
lonesomexloveus
ALSO, people in the US should be glad they don't live overseas and have to pay more for shipping than the record itself.

apeman
ALSO, people in the US should be glad they don't live overseas and have to pay more for shipping than the record itself. Very true - 40-50% of the total amount I spend on a record is usually to cover postage. And even still the prices are mostly lower than buying records locally inside the EU. magicbulletrecords
This is an expensive hobby. ^^ This is why "collectors" are willfully getting gouged. Records being looked at as a "hobby" instead of just another format by which to play music.
