Then you tell them and they look at you like you are some sort of abomination? Thats what most people do when I tell them. "why wouldnt you wanna drink!" sometimes i feel like i can see someone struggling to process the fact that i'm 25, have tattoos, and listen to the music that i do, and yet i don't drink, and then i can literally see their brain exploding. i know how the panda bear at the zoo feels on a daily basis. a truly rare marvel! are you like on probation? When I got my straight edge tattoo, the guy almost didnt want to do it cause he didnt think that I would want it when I turned 21 cause who could turn down alcohol? controlthebleeding Posted December 17, 2010 Share Posted December 17, 2010 i would too if i was a tattoo artist. being young is different than when you're older, you're still growing and your mind is still a sponge of sort. you haven't fully developed and aren't set in your ways yet. if you were 30 and still sober, then it'd be a different story. it's almost like the equivalent of getting your girlfriends name at 19. any decent artist will try to talk you out of it before he tattoos you. to allison, yeah, i figured that was the funniest excuse someone could come up with. haha.
