It's not a bad thing for bands to change, but it seems like most of the stuff they changed was what I liked about them. I saw them last night and they played, I think, 4 songs off the new album, and I wasn't feeling them live either. They also didn't play Dog/Dogs. wtf. But I think the new stuff sounds good... i think that opening track Gravity is really good, and then it loses me for a bit, and picks back up towards the end of the record. A CD or download card would have made it better, but meh. I don't know how I feel about this trackless press, it's like one giant song on both sides. FYI- the ink used on the front of the pre-order Lemuria tee is DISCHARGE ink, so there will be no cracking or fading, and after you wash it the first time, there should be no feeling of ink on the shirt, the print is bleached into the fabric. I'll admit I was late to the Lemuria train and I guess this is my real introduction to them...but coming into this album with fresh ears I think is the best way to enjoy it.
