cesar11
Descendents are opening for them in Long Beach. I don't care for Rise Against that much but Descendents and Bad Religion in one night? SO THERE.
xjustinxschwierx
yeah no more blasphemous than when BR opened for Blink
scottheisel
I'm sure it will be just like the Rise Against/Rancid tour from the other year, where RA closes every night but the other band will still get a hefty 45-to-60-minute set. booyahachieved
Bad Religion did open for Blink 182 roughly 10 years ago. I still laugh about the order of that line up and I'm sure most of the dudes in Bad Religion do as well.

ihprstl
But I want to see a full 75 minutes of Bad Religion if I'm paying $25+ for tickets. Not a fan of Rise Against at all. I think Blink was a lot bigger than Rise Against was when that tour happened though?
brentoage
that blink182/BR tour was fun. yeah yeah yeah, everyone loves to point out that BR should have headlined over blink. get over it. blink sold the majority of the tickets, it was their tour, and BR agreed to open for them. wiggs1441
I know Rise Against is playing Edgefest at Downsview but is Bad Religion? That would be sick!
travis
In 2011 Rise Against are a bigger band than Bad Religion. Obviously bad Religion are legendary but it makes sense for them to play before Rise Against now. There would be a lot of people leaving after Rise Against played if they went on before BR. Also, the fucking Descendents in Long Beach! I cant wait for that show!

suburbanargyle
Rise Against gets pretty regular play on the radio these days. I think the only Bad Religion song I've ever heard on terrestrial radio is "infected"...and that was a long time ago.
scottheisel
Rise Against have three consecutive gold records. I heard their new single on the radio while I was working out at the YMCA the other day. They are a radio band, and one with a really big fanbase. Bad Religion, while legendary in punk rock, hasn't been a part of the mainstream for 15-plus years.

vince182
yea i know, its gonna be a killer, but im guessing theyre not on warped tour, so i figured id give it a shot....but the Chicago date is the last day of the tour, which could be fun to see RA at nonetheless
raidenradio
Or when As I Lay Dying headlined Sounds of the Underground. I think In Flames was one of the opener and it was just 2 years after As I Lay Dying was the opener for In Flames' tour.
blanketbyday
last 3 Rise Against Records > Last 3 Bad Religion Records.

They all look way happier/into it than in previous tours (NMOH/TESF).

suburbanargyle
I will say that I saw Bad Religion on the last tour and they were pretty good. Way more energy than I thought there would be.
