jeffnovak
Roughly 1500. I am also one of those that doesn't go for multiple colors/pressings, except when it comes to Converge, but I've never paid a "preimium" price for anything in that collection, I just buy them when they come out. cosmonaut
I've just stepped up the geekdom and worked out my collection would stretch 14798" if laid out, almost a quarter of a mile. Hahah, awesome. People should report their collections by distance now.

youarethere
About 55-60. I only began buying about 2 years ago.
skutch
About 4,500 records (all styles) in total. About 2,500+ of them fall into the "punk" category (excluding varients) but this number increases weekly. Got a few hundred CDs on top of that as well but I don't really want to count them in the total.
fenixtx1624
I'd say probably around 150. Im always looking to buy more seeing as i just started collecting seriously about a year ago. I bought around 25 since the new year, most through mail order. The only good shop around me is Redscroll in wallingford CT.

bleachedtshirt
i've drastically slowed my record purchases and been working to slim the collection down, getting rid of the impulse buys and junk i don't care about anymore. i had over 500 a few months ago, now i have 239. i love my record collection way more now. oh and my tape count has shot up, i currently have about 90-100 tapes.
