seafoamgreen
I hope Rich Egan donates some money. That would be hilarious.

jonnywreck
kickstarters don't annoy me as much as pre-orders do.
lonesomexloveus
kickstarters don't annoy me as much as pre-orders do. kickstarter is a glorified pre-order. only worse because nothing goes into motion until all the money is collected. icecream
how long are they allowed to hold your money until the project is complete ?
GradedOnACurve
Not nearly as many people are mad at this as opposed to the Face To Face kickstarter. At least they recorded the album already.
Snaggle Von Swift
already at 9,000.. impressive.
steviex2shoes
how long are they allowed to hold your money until the project is complete ? They don't hold your money. Currently you're just pledging to pay whatever amount you said you would. Then on the day the kickstarter ends if its been fully funded your credit card gets charged. Snaggle Von Swift
$11,081.. fully backed.
steviex2shoes
But how long can they work on the project? That's got to be a project by project basis. Once kickstarter takes your money I don't know that there are strict guidelines as to when the project needs to be released.
hookups96
Over $13g, sold two personal songs at $1250 a pop! Not that this is equal, but how much does Max from Say Anything charge when he does his song shop thing?
fixedfrequencies
from what i remember, bemis charges about $150, for a minute and a half long song.
seafoamgreen
Jonah Matranga will do a personal song too. Or at least he used to. I guarantee he'll do it for less than $1200!

I'd love to have him do a song, but at that price it better be a 12 minute epic prog-rock track.
