legendsneverdie
Good morning/evening Vinyl Collective, I post to propose you a question about the fine band called Piebald. The thing is, when I saw them at a European festival this year, they had the single LP "We Are The Only Friends We Have". Due shortage of money I could not buy it. When I searched the Internet for it, I could not find it. Does anyone know anything more about this possible repress?
xadamhudsonx
I don't know about a repress of the album by itself, but it was just released along with Venetian Blinds and When Life Hands you Lemons in a box set available on RSD. As for the original pressing, it has been available since 2002. I've got it on green.
xadamhudsonx
Also: Banquet still has them in stock: http://www.banquetrecords.com/RISE127
legendsneverdie
Thank you very much, I might buy that boxset. Still, looking for the single LP, hence American Hearts and Long Nights are pretty much my favorite songs.
seafoamgreen
As for the original pressing, it has been available since 2002. I've got it on green. It was also pressed on grey vinyl. Both versions were somewhat limited but I've never seen a copy sell for more than $25 or $30US. Probably less now that it's available again in some fashion. legendsneverdie
Hm okay I'll guess I'll just wait for more news, since they're together again they'll probably repress it once it goes OOP.

That's weird because I've never seen a copy sell for less than that haha. That's why I was so pumped for the boxset, because I was in the same boat as the OG! rtw88
This thing was pressed on a ton of colors. I've seen black, marble green, clear green, grey, and some in betweens. I wouldn't really count on a repress. The original press sat around for years and years.
steviex2shoes
I bought a marble green from someone on the board for $15ppd early last year..maybe I was just really lucky.
derkwithano
I bought a marble green from someone on the board for $15ppd early last year..maybe I was just really lucky. my friend got one for $8 at a vinyl swap thing one time. I could never win them on Ebay and I would bid up to $30!
seafoamgreen
I guess I haven't checked in a while I guess! Maybe I'll sell mine!

adamlikesmusic
Yeah, unless you need the album by itself, the 3-LP package is a great deal. Probably my favorite RSD release this year.
almightyseancore
when life hands you lemons was a great album. don't know about any of their other stuff. i bought the lemons one when it was new, on cd that is, and then kinda forgot about 'em. didn't they go folk or pop or something weird? gravitylovesdrunks
if you like lemons, chances are you'll really like their next one too (if it weren't for venetian blinds...)
seafoamgreen
didn't they go folk or pop or something weird? That's going a bit far, but they did veer towards the mock-cock-rock edge with the last record (The Accidental Gentleman) which I didn't get into at all. The other records are still fantastic in my view though, with Venetian Blinds being my favorite.
vinyljunkie
Hm okay I'll guess I'll just wait for more news, since they're together again they'll probably repress it once it goes OOP. they are back together? i didnt know that. also, dont hold your breath for a repress. Their other albums were oop for years while they were together still and they stil were never repressed.
