winston
beneath oblivion sucks! sorry, but true. the vocals are the worst part of this band and they just sound sloppy. quite boring and exhausting to listen to. i don't dig this guys art at all. celebdeath
i have only heard the s/t 10" and am mighty impressed with that. i'll be waiting till this 7" lands before listening to it but at this stage, i'm going to disagree with u. will have a better opinion when the thing lands. xjustinxschwierx
I'm so amused that Angel Eyes wrote a song short enough to fit on a 7".
sharkticon
I'm so amused that Angel Eyes wrote a song short enough to fit on a 7". The first track on Something To Do With Death is only 5ish minutes long? But yeah, they like to write some epics. This new track is pretty great. I love the bass in it. I wish that album was on wax. if UCR ever slows down I might do a limited set of my 2 releases...it would have to be a 3LP set so, even cutting every corner possible, that shit's gonna be hella expensive. sharkticon
I've said it a bunch of times before: Something To Do With Death is such an awesome record to drive at night to. Back when I lived in the middle of the sticks in VA I would put it on when driving home from work late at night, through woods and fields, just hoping for a supernatural encounter. I also played it in the middle of Wyoming at like 1AM when I was moving across the country. Such a badass record. It needs some vinyl treatment.
