Motion City Soundtrack - Live on New Rock Revolution Radio

http://www.divshare.com/download/4195135-42f

This is from my old radio show. i dont think anyone outside of myself and the band has this. They came in right before I Am the Movie came out on epitaph and played 3 songs "acoustic." Justin played an acoustic guitar, Josh played the keyboard parts on electric guitar, Matt was a human beatbox, and Tony played drums on an empty pringle can

American Football - The Best Of Me

I'm not quite sure where this is from. My rip of the EP has it labeled as from there, but I don't see it on the offical track listing? It is a really really good song. I've also looked a bit into it and it seems some people don't think it's Mike Kinsella, but maybe another band? If anyone has any info on it, let me know.

It's an extra track on a Limited Edition run of the American Football EP.

Last Summer - I Remember Those Days: http://www.divshare.com/download/4190693-c49

- one of the first bands to sign to the then-unknown drive thru records. this band is long broken up and the cd is long out of print. i wish i would have gotten into them sooner - don't really know how to classify them..a big clusterfuck of stuff. there's some horns on the cd, so ska? who knows.

RIYL: bomb the music industry, mustard plug, saves the day

Here is the Supermarket Allstars CD. Same band before they changed their name. Released on Too Hep records

This is ripped straight from the .nfo from the version of the EP I have, which has 4 songs.

≥ This is a limited edition release of the band's self titled ≥

≥ EP, it comes with an additional track featuring Mike ≥

≥ Kinsella. ≥

≥ ≥

≥ The first release from ex-Cap'N Jazz/Joan of Arc guitarist ≥

≥ Mike Kinsella. Light, refreshing melodies of dual guitars ≥

≥ and no bass layered with soft, pitter-pattering, slow ≥

≥ rhythms are complemented by Kinsella's high pitched, syrupy ≥

≥ vocals. All in all, this three-song disc will leave you ≥

≥ anxious to hear more. "Letters and Packages" is perhaps the ≥

≥ most compelling song of the three - a quiet sort of driving ≥

≥ piece that weaves through the ears gracefully. - Blake Butler

And this is why illegally downloading music is a gamble at best. You've been hoodwinked. According to Steve Holmes (who was, uh, in American Football), from the Polyvinyl message board:

people have asked me about that "best of me" track before. I think it was floating around on napster a few years back labeled as american football, but it's not us. I've never heard it myself, so I'm not sure who it really is (it's not the One Up Downstairs either... ).

In short: Buy music! That way, you don't end up with a hard drive full of mislabeled MP3s.
