im gonna guess most people who buy them wont bother to open them either, so they wont know the difference if the color is wrong.

Yeah, this. Just buy some regular records, remove the records from the sleeves so you can listen to them (or sell cheap), put dollar bin records in the sleeves, reseal, sell as rare version, make money.

Even if it will be opened that will probably be long after they can file a PayPal claim, and you can always blame the pressingplant or label.

Buying records but not listening to them. Why are you guys slamming this guy? Seems like a pretty common practice around these parts.

i agree.

personally, i do both, i buy them to collect them, but i also listen to them for their quality.

a very good friend of mine has been collecting records for a good 15 years, with some AMAZING stuff, and he's never owned a turntable.

some people are just like that.
