What's everyone eating for Thanksgiving?

Here's what me, Mellie, idreamofpunk and his lady are eating:

- Green Bean Casserole with Caramelized Onions

- Tempeh and Jalapeno Stuffing

- Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Gravy

- Vegan Sausage and Peppers

- Sweet Potato Pie with a Brown Sugar and (Vegan) Marshmallow Crust

- Cinnamon and Nutmeg Spiced Pumpkin Pie

- Cranberry Sauce (from a can, since that's the only way Mellie finds it acceptable).

I think Andrew and his lady are eating some sorta pate croute turkey type thing for their meat item. Not sure though.

i made a casserole with broccoli, mushrooms, pasta, and cheese. Had some mashed potatoes, stuffing, and cooked carrots. i'm a vegetarian, if you couldn't tell. Seems like a few of you are, too.

I think that's called "Pumpkin Pie."

When I was in culinary school, I took a menu and marketing class where the most obviously stated stuff was meant to be phrased in such a way as to glamorize it to the consumer. To anyone with common sense, it goes to reason that what I listed is a basic pumpkin pie but to the easily fooled and trendy 'foodie' the listing of those spices inspires that 'ooh' and 'aah' they're so loathe to do. I never got out of the habit of listing dishes in such a way, hahah.

That's seriously funny. First thing that comes to mind is "Ahi Tuna." Or in other words, "Tuna Tuna."
