PO: HWM - Forever and Counting - Cassette

Recommended Posts

There is a pre-order for Forever and Counting on tape at the HWM Merch Store - limited to 200?. Listen up dinosaurs, tapes are the future! A future coated in ferric oxide and chrome - high in bias. You best melt down your all records for the forthcoming oil embargo. The shah seems angry these days.

some of these tape releases are such fucking cash grabs, especially at 8 dollars plus shipping. give me a break... It's cool for collectors I guess, but really....
Although, this price is less than tapes were going for 20+ years ago, when thy were being made in larger quantities. It's all relative.

Truth. I remember being a kid asking my parents to buy cassettes that ranged from $11.99 to $16.99(!) Crazy when you think about that and $17.99+ Cds back in the 90's

I guess I'm just basing my idea of what a decent price is off what I've paid for the last few tapes I've bought. Kinda how I look at some labels charging 18.99 for a single LP and no idea can still do it for under ten :)
