hobohunter48
blaame it on this southern weatherrr i'm still torn on whether to get this or not. played the hell out of it back in the day--not so much anymore. Do it for nostalgia, and if it doesn't do it for ya then you can always sell it.

dreamover
why is everyone so obsessed with pressing info? it'll probably be like almost every other tooth & nail vinyl release. 1000 or 2000 on black vinyl.
travis
Yea I have no idea about pressing info, from what I can tell its just on black vinyl and they likely pressed a couple thousand minimum.

Funny question on a board like this..but yeah, probably 1000 or 2000, just wanted to know if Travis knew numbers or not.
sharkticon
We just saw an announcement on Alter The Press and Absolutepunk.net about a vinyl release of Southern Weather "announced" by The Almost. Neither the band or their manager know anything about this record and until we do you may not want to pre-order it as we can't even say whats on it or who is putting it out and if you should trust them. thejesseb
https://www.facebook...151887608290022 The band then commented with this: it was T&N and they forgot to tell us. I'm glad it was them and not one of the countless "labels" doing these reissues. A bunch of those reissue labels are going broke becuase they arent even labels and owing people massive amounts of money
kforkevin777
Holy shit, I'm glad this is getting pressed. I can add this to my 8th grade nostalgia collection with Underoath, Emery, The Used, and Hawthrone Heights. Now I just gotta get He Is Legend, Showbread, and ACB! I still love this album to this day, even if I don't always listen to it. The only Almost album I like all the way through. And I like it more than anything Underoath did after They're Only Chasing Safety. Will prolly order through Interpunk since I'm pissed at SRC, but I might try and get up with them to switch out this for another record in the big store credit order that they were supposed to send me three months ago. Aych
From T&N's Twitter: Get @thealmost's "Southern Weather" on vinyl July 31st! Pressing is limited to 1000 copies, pre-orders available now! Modern Vinyl's update mentioned black vinyl, which was also pretty expected. Still, a great album at a fair price.
kforkevin777
Yeah, definitely a fair price.
mymirrorspeaks
Nice, I loved this album when it came out, purchasing on nostalgia reasons alone.

derkwithano
I'd bet only 1,000 since Anberlin's pressings were only 1,00 if I remember correctly. They were much more popular than The Almost. That being said...$12 is an awesome price. Definitely will order at some point.
steviex2shoes
$15.87 now on Amazon: http://www.amazon.co...ASIN=B008BSM164 It's currently $14.72 now, and if any of my past pre-orders have any bearing if could drop lower than that. Holy shit, I'm glad this is getting pressed. I can add this to my 8th grade nostalgia collection with Underoath, Emery, The Used, and Hawthrone Heights. This statement just makes me feel old. I feel like this album just came out not long ago, I know 2007, but I hardly feel nostalgic about this album. But I'm getting it. mmhmm
T&N "forgot" to tell them... T&N forgets a lot of things...like, how to support & market their smaller bands, for example. Love the label and their releases but sometimes I feel like people who run the label have their heads buried in the sand about certain things...vinyl releases included.
