cfrancese5
Isn't the shirt packaged into the sleeve? Yeah, it is. Kind of annoying but w/e I am just happy to finally have a copy of this album.
cfrancese5
Spinning this now... it sounds pretty good a little bit of surface noise but it still sounds pretty solid. derrickcook19941

hipsterasfolk
bumping this dead thread for a question Recently this record store has been getting in Hot Fuss on Black for $25, but I have been unable to verify information anywhere online about a Black pressing of this album. The distributor of this title is ECD Direct (which is marked imports) http://www.ecddirect.net/www.ecddirect.net/info.php?p=5 Main issues I have with this is the fact that this album is.... ECD does not list Lizard King as a label they pick from Black 12" LP The sleeve looks very cheap and pixelated (like a CD image blown up) The other ECD titles are normally bigger artist such as Beatles/Janis Joplin/Etc. (they also look like crap too) Any ideas? this is the 3rd copy they have got in store and it takes approximately 2 weeks for the order to be fulfilled. Is this a bootleg or an actual import from Australia/Sweden/Germany/England/or something? EDIT: Found out it happens to be a 2013 counterfeit pressing through the dark corners of the internet

aellerton
Mine came today! (yes on a Sunday!) haven't had a chance to spin this yet but I'll report on how it sounds later tonight. How long did yours take to get to you? I put in my order 20 days ago and haven't received any type of shipping notification.
ScottyK86
Hello all, I am new to vinyl and am trying to track down this album, thought I struck gold on eBay...but it is a black EU reissue. From what I can see after looking other places since, that it is a boot and I asked for my bid to be retracted but he assures me it is a EU reissue? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/KILLERS-HOT-FUSS-EU-REISSUE-ON-BLACK-VINYL-NEW-AND-UNPLAYED-/281097560366? darkeyelids
This has only been officially issued on blue vinyl (apart from black 7" set) Any other colour, including that black is 100% fake
russtcb
I snagged a sealed baby blue copy off eBay about a year ago. I was so bummed when I played it only to find that it's slightly off center.

But the item has now been removed listed as "lost or broken". The search continues... Would it even be worth getting the T-Shirt box set, I don't think I could afford an original pressing, but I don't want to shell out $70 on something that will sound bad. mmhmm
There's also a seller on Amazon selling a black Euro re-press. Is it possible that it was actually repressed, legitimately?
hipsterasfolk
It's a bootleg from the UK distrubutor called ECD, they specialize in sending their shit to the U.S. claiming it is a "Import" but really its a horrible bootleg that looks like poo poo! bonzoxxx
A+ Bump Ha, thanks! Was better to do this than start a new thread. So what's the verdict on the sound quality on this bootleg? I have nothing to contribute to the sound quality. I don't listen to them.. I just need those three to complete the Hot Fuss collection! So if anyone would spot them online or in his local record store..

bonzoxxx
Well let me explain. My Hot Fuss records are ranked chronological. I always take the 2nd or 3th one if I want to play that record (the dark blue us version or light blue uk version), but never one of those bootlegs. Maybe I'll give them a try.
