Yeah, I didn't really take away anything from the book that I feel should be turned into a 127 million dollar movie. If anything, I felt like the book was a negative look at the lifestyles the people making this movie/soundtrack are living. Then again, Fitzgerald would fit along with them so who knows. Might be just me and I completely got the book wrong. It's been many years since I have read it. I do think the last chapter is one of the greatest things I have ever read though. In your post you were commenting on the gold and platinum records, and that you were wishing that TMR had done this for other releases, such as "Broken Boy Soldiers" by The Racontoeurs. I was referencing the fact that having this soundtrack pressed as such is a perfect fit for the book, since the book features themes of wealth and affluence.
