So I've gone back a year later to see how these records held up for me.  I did it all in a spreadsheet originally giving them 0-10 and I just re-ranked everything.

How they've held up:

1.  The World Is A Beautiful Place And I Am No Longer Afraid To Die - Whenever, If Ever

2.  City And Colour - The Hurry And The Harm

3.  Balance And Composure - The Things We Think We're Missing

4.  HRVRD - From The Bird's Cage

5.  The Front Bottoms - Talon Of The Hawk

6.  Lydia - Devil

7.  The Wonder Years - The Greatest Generation

8. Touché Amoré - Is Survive By

9.  Koji - Crooked In My Mind

10.  Lawrence Trailer - Declaration

There's a few records from 2013 that I just heard this year so they didn't make my list. Castevet - Obsian comes to mind.  That should have been on my list for sure. Good idea to revise.  So much good stuff comes out it's hard to keep up at times.

So many albums grew on me.  I didn't do an end of the year list last year, I just did the mid-year list and like TWIABP wasn't even on my list.  I was missing so much!

I feel like end of year list always come out way too prematurely. They should wait til at least Feb 1st of the next year to give you 1 full month to catch up on/digest any end of year releases.  Even then I can't keep up at times.  Feels like if end of year lists waited a few months, they'd be way more accurate, at least that's how I feel about my own pics.  Sometimes stuff slips under the radar, or for whatever reason I just don't get into it til later on.  My 2014 will be more refined though, because I made a point of at least attempting to casually keep track.
