Derek™
@Derek: Is that Adebisi Shank album on black? I've only seen it on clear and blue. I looked around quite a bit - comparing prices - and was under the impression that it's only on black? I just ordered it yesterday, so it hasn't actually arrived yet. Sorry for the false alarm. But now I'm kind of stoked that it may be colored!

Dude. I hadn't seen that link (and consequently feel pretty dumb), but I had enough time to cancel my order through Amazon, and grab a colored copy... just to play it safe. The prices will probably be identical when it's all said and done. +1 for the heads up. What cataloging system are you using? It's actually just a template in Photoshop, coupled with an Action that shrinks / sharpens / applies effects to the album art. It's working quite well for me. plasma36
@Sharkticon: You should check out Adebisi Shank, if you haven't. The best way to describe them is happy math. It's awesome. Also, I wish I'd known that FOB album was rare/worth a lot of money. I saw a copy at my local store a while back and thought "Ew, Fall Out Boy" and moved on with my life. An extra $80 in my bank account would have been awesome.

And I love FUTCT. i wasn't concerned with ordering it back in the day and have regretted it ever since. Thankfully I don't need to get discouraged watching those crazy ebay auctions anymore. FBR would really be doing themselves a favor by repressing it. Travis got them to do Paramore's All We Know Is Falling. He should convince them to press FUTCT and The Academy Is' Almost Here. Money in the bank.
mcstuff
Hey Derek, where'd you get that copy of Mirrored?
Derek™
I almost purchased it from Bleep.com (for $$29 + shipping), since it was sold out at Insound yesterday. But I decided to check one more time, and now they're available. $18.99. Go.
mcstuff
Thanks so much! I saw it once at a local record store before I collected vinyl, and haven't been able to find it anywhere but ebay since.

mcstuff
Do you think it'll last long? I'm trying to score a copy of Frances the Mute, so I may not be able to buy it this week.
Derek™
That's tough to say. It was on Back Order just yesterday - but apparently replenished this morning - so I doubt copies are overly scarce. If they do sell out and remain sold out, you can always pay the extra $10 - $14 and grab it from Bleep. Worst case scenario.
mcstuff
Ah, that's not too bad then. There's a high probability that Frances will go out of what I'm willing to spend anyway.
