Guest tms2787 Posted February 26, 2013 Share Posted February 26, 2013 I visit the KanyeToThe Forum ("biggest Kanye fansite") from time-to-time and I do think a guy tried to or did get them pressed as a picture disc (go figure) and that guy also did (or is doing) the first two Kendrick Lamar records/mixtapes. Personally I am not a fan of bootlegs and would just rather wait it out for an official release. I do agree with Drew, this would be worth spending $50 over that blink-182 repress, I would spend around $100 f it really is six LPs and they do booklets like on the CDs and separate sleeves for each release. I would like a boxset with a sleeve for each mix tape along with colored vinyl for each LP of the mixtape (like what 3arl did) and the boxset cover art, would be trilogy's cover art of course, sigh, but that would only happen in a prefect world. They'll most likely be one sleeve no gatefold, 180 grams, with boring center labels, and trilogy cover art, priced at around $120, that's what I predict. but damn 6 LPs giving Mellon Collie & Sadness a run for it's money. Read an article recently, which I can't seem to find at the moment, about the rise of bootleg records. It's a little over-saturated these days, but still a good source of info. On topic, I'm really curious to see what this release will look like, if it does exist.
