So excited the new Foals album is finally getting a domestic press!

My deluxe came today and it's glorious.

This is streaming on iTunes now for those interested.

Count me in with those who'd love more Cure reissues, especially in the US... I'm only missing a couple albums but I'm a sucker for colored Cure stuff.

I don't know for sure but I'm going to assume no. This is what Capitol says about the "From the Vaults" reissue series, but yours might be different if it's the UK version which I think was issued under EMI: Each title in the series is faithfully restored to audiophile sound quality standards and pressed on heavy duty 180g vinyl.

I'll probably pick this up from one of the local shops if they get any hopefully for a little bit cheaper. But at the same time, I'm pretty sure I'm going to just have to suck it up and buy it online.

Most likely. I think the main difference is the 180g vinyl - the etchings are all the same I think.

I'm still on the search for original pressings of Pablo Honey, Kid A, and Amnesiac but I have everything else. Most I've had to import but a few I've found domestically (was pretty cool finding an import of HTTT in a small record shop for 30 bucks.) I still need a bunch of singles and such but god damn, Radiohead stuff is expensive!

I do - it's probably my favorite record I own (most likely because it's my favorite album of all time...). The sound is incredible. Definitely worth the few extra bucks instead of buying the Capitol repress.

Will definitely be picking up that Psychocandy splatter if it's available in the US.

Amoeba was $29.95 with free shipping for a while before they jacked the price up. As of right now I think XL is cheapest, though.

Same here. Knowing Amoeba mine will probably be in Mass sometime this weekend. Oh well, at least it was cheap.

All I can say is I'm totally psyched to finally see my first NIN show.

I also cut out the stickers on the shrink and keep them with the record but ditch the rest of it.

Picked up a copy of Give Up by The Postal Service the other day and was psyched to see the "colored vinyl" sticker on it... opened it up and it was just plain black. Can't say I'm surprised but at the same time I'm kind of wishing I spent my money on something else. Oh well, it's one of those albums I was eventually planning on picking up anyway. And I also bought Strawberry Jam by Animal Collective yesterday which has eluded me for months, so that's good.

I'm seeing Animal Collective in a couple weeks and Fall Out Boy in May. Possibly seeing The Joy Formidable again in April as well.

Got an email from Amoeba with a tracking number today, so they're starting to send them out. This is the most excited I've been for a record in quite a while.

Does anyone have any experience with Amoeba pre-orders? Basically, should I expect a shipping notification email or is it just going to show up?

Just remembered another one - the Aerosmith record my aunt gave to me with a notebook sheet of handwritten lyrics of "Dream On" she wrote down when she was probably 13.

I'm thinking about going to the Boston show... they're not must must see for me but I feel like I'll regret it in the future if I don't go.

I finally gave in and listened to the leak. It's fantastic. Can't wait to get my deluxe LP in now!

$120 for The Horrors - Strange House. Besides that, I think it's $32 for an OP of Radiohead's Hail to the Thief and a few other records that were $29.99 retail.
