Got my copy of Person Pitch yesterday - frustration-free mailer and flawless. Not bad at all for 11 bucks.

I shook hands with Liam Gallagher once. That's about it.

They had three copies at Newbury Comics the other day for $50. It was nice to look it over in hand but I just didn't feel like spending that much money on it.

A couple more of Montreal things today: Voltaic Crusher 7" (lavender marble /2000) The Past is a Grotesque Animal 12" (black /1000) And the best part? It only cost about $15 between the two including shipping.

These guys have started getting some major attention in the past few months, and rightly so. I've been following them pretty much since the beginning and they're fantastic. Psychedelic/shoegaze/etc.

Went to Newbury Comics today and it turns out they were raffling off a test pressing of this and an uncut press sheet of sleeves for the RSD 7" single. Didn't win the test press but I did win the press sheet, which is pretty cool. They also said they'll be getting the regular 2LP next Tuesday, so there will be a (hopefully cheaper) US release for this.

Adding Dan Deacon and Tame Impala to the wantlist... this is getting more and more expensive...

I've been trying to find a US disto as well with no luck. I'm probably just going to end up importing from the UK because it's worth it.

I forgot to mention that this is a casual outlet for my writing. It's not going to be perfect. I've been an editor on my school's newspaper for two years so I know how to write a "proper" piece. This is just for me to write about what I want to write about rather than what I'm told to write about.

...and now I need the Pulp and Joy Formidable 12"s as well. Dammit.

Just started this earlier in the week. There will be vinyl, but also other musings about concerts and music as well.
