That's why I only own one copy of each lol. Usually i get one black vinyl and if theres a colored version then i will get that too but i wont play it because its limited

I just always assumed that the colored or splatter versions hold more value. Is that usually not the case?

But then if I wanted to sell it thinking it was the splatter and the buyer gets the black one I would get my ass chewed up because of their mistake

Oh I've already listened to it on CD and I love the album, great stuff this time by panic in my opinion. But I usually buy vinyl just to get a different listening experience or if it's a special color then I usually don't open them as collectables so I didn't plan on opening this one so it's been sealed all this time for no reason lol

This album is really different from her previous stuff... after a first listen, I'm anxious to listen again. It gives me a little Lana Del Rey vibe at times with a little Drake influence.

What boggles my mind is the trend as of late on VC of people jumping into threads to shit-talk on the subject just for the sake of doing so and antagonizing the people who are into that particular band, artist, or release.
If you don't like Beyoncé, then don't post on here. If you feel an excrutiatingly painful need to post, then just keep it simple with something like "nope, don't enjoy her music. It's not for me." Then move on.

That said, maybe that topic title is misleading. Would something like "Vinyl Collective FAQ (Read Before Your First Post)" be a little clearer? You could theoretically not be new to vinyl but still not know some of the answers.

Put the ones you like the most and want to keep in top condition in jackets. They are yours afterall, so if you don't plan on selling them, the value someone else puts on it is pretty irrelevant.
