killerofjoy605
Earlier today Panic announced new album "Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die!" out October 8th and released a new song. Here is the link to the preorder bundles .http://panicatthedisco.gomerch.com/ And the link to new song "Miss Jackson" - To me it kind of sounds like a song off Fall Out Boy's new record but slightly better. popscratch
I just listened to Miss Jackson, and just off it I doubt I will care for the new album. It also feels like they're following Fall Out Boy to the point where they're stepping on Fall Out Boy's heel. I won't be preordering this for sure. A-Bon
I'd be interested more if they would press vices and virtues but oh well... I'll still get it genicide

It also feels like they're following Fall Out Boy to the point where they're stepping on Fall Out Boy's heel. I won't be preordering this for sure. I feel like they've always been just behind FOB. I mean, it's hard not to when Pete basically 'discovered' them and Brendon's voice being nearly interchangeable with Patrick's back in the PureVolume demos / AFYCSO days. ifworkpermits
Produced by: Butch Walker Why not? With the success of FOB's new album I can see Walker's workload becoming very full soon. At least he is working on his own material right now. That will be better than anything he produces. Period.
psus2h
Before the vocal melody kicked in, my girl friend thought it was Katy Perry. She also thinks the new FOB sounds like Katy Perry. Butch Walker also produced Katy Perry, so I see where she is coming from.
cwhitmuzik
Vices and Virtues is probably their best. This really does sound like new FOB too, which I liked but I mean, I don't know. This just doesn't work for me.

I mean, it's hard not to when Pete basically 'discovered' them and Brendon's voice being nearly interchangeable with Patrick's back in the PureVolume demos / AFYCSO days. I guess so, but this seems so much more like FOB. I really liked Vices; maybe this is just one off song... but I highly doubt it. I'm just tired of bands going all electronic. I thought Save Rock and Roll was just too much. On the other hand I thought Paramore had a solid album that added electronics but still kept a good rock/alternative feel to it. Odd. at all, so I was happy that Vices turned out to be the album that it was. I actually didn't hear the new song yet (no speakers at work), so I'm gunna take a listen. atticus
I this like a joke or something? I feel like someone should do one of those right/left channel side by sides of this and "my songs know..."
3arl
It's like they ran out of all their good ideas after an album and a half. I guess that Ryan guy really was the brains of this band. popscratch
