I hit 2nd & Charles (do they count?) and found My Chemical Romance's Conventional Weapons Release #2 for $5 in the wrong section buried in some 12"s. It's as close to mint as a used record can be. The person who sold this for $1 or $2 to the store that clearly had no idea.

They sold every variant of ArSe other than the /4000 in no time when they went up. Doing the bundles and then only having black screwed their first day preorder sales which are arguably the most important. I'd say it was a really bad move.

I've never seen such an odd way to do preorders. And frankly I don't think this is working as well as the traditional route.

Just a warning that a friend of mine has emailed 3 times and called several times with no answer to change his address over the last few weeks and they won't answer him. Apparently they haven't been answering their customer service for quite a while.

I can barely see my screen with these ads on the side that pop up every time I open a new page. It's 2 ads total for the sides.

I'm wondering if it's the alt cover with pink/green marble swirl. I'm holding off for that.

WACK. I won't be paying $30 for a single LP. It'll be on sale some at some point down the road but no band is worth that and you know compared to their past releases it'll be bare bones. Rise's roster has gone so far downhill and they changed ownership so I'm not surprised they're milking this for every penny.

The band's twitter retweeted the mural on a building and said "let's talk about this tomorrow" but I'm thinking maybe pre-orders today and music tomorrow? I'd hope so considering we've now seen 2 variants.

It's at the point (not like it wasn't years ago) every label and artist needs to drop them and I don't know why they won't. People are having more issues than ever. My friend just needs to change his address and he's emailed multiple times over weeks and they won't answer him. They won't reply to any issue I've had in the last 2 years, they send the wrong variants all the time and don't want to work with the customers, they CAN'T COUNT, they don't update on delays, they don't even reply to the credit card companies I've used when I've had to file disputes. It's unbelievable how they're the worst of the worst and labels won't even recognize it or move platforms. My last issue I had to reach out to Chris at No Sleep (it wasn't a no sleep order, had no pre-orders, didn't ship for over a month and missed the holiday deadline Merchnow promised) just to get a response. That's how bad their "service" is. I've been bugging labels for years and the only one who did it was InVogue (due to artist complaints as well) but now they're back with them again. Honestly I've considered starting petitions to get artists and labels to consider any other option but I'm not sure how many signatures I could gather. If they didn't get so many exclusive variants from PNR, Rise, Fearless, Hopeless, etc. the vinyl community would be a lot better off.

In a lot of cases these surveys are for hypothetical projects that are not intended to be developed (I can't speak for this one). When you do the survey you're helping someone graduate. As someone who had 3 internships and is finishing his master's this year I can assure you it's a big help if you have a couple minutes no matter what the topic is.

There's a song called Pink Lightning that leaked and it's superrrrr good. I think Stardew is really good too but I prefer PL.
