  1. "BARBARA LYNN will be ROG #35. Fans voted to make the next limited and numbered Run Out Groove title, The Atlantic Years 1968-1973 available now for pre-order. Pioneering singer/guitarist Barbara Lynn was a rare commodity during her heyday – one of the very first female instrumentalists to hit the charts, play guitar left handed and write a lot of her own material; straddling the line between blues and southern R&B. Remastered in mono and stereo with lacquers cut at Sam Phillips Recording Studio, this is the first time her classic output for Atlantic Records is collected on one LP and will be available to pre-order until January 7th, and then pressed and numbered to a limited quantity based on total orders." "For the last month of 2019 we are introducing three new titles into voting. Up for vote in December are: Paul Butterfield Blues Band’s live 1969 set at Woodstock (never available on vinyl), Hot Hot Heat’s Sire Records debut, Elevator, with bonus tracks, and Freedy Johnston’s second full length Elektra album, Never Home, which has never seen a release on wax." https://www.runoutgroovevinyl.com/vote-for-next-release
  2. THANKS! I see shipping sucks as much as it did last time but this is one of maybe 5 bands I'd pay this much for.
  3. Merchbucket now says delayed until February 15, 2019. I think they meant to say 2020. I hope this doesn't end up taking as long as the records for A Skylit Drive.
  4. I guess Rise expected this to sell as well as Head Hunter and did the same pressing numbers across 5 variants. Slime City still hasn't sold out. Maybe I'm not the only one that thinks this is a stinker for the Tilian era of the band.

  6. They better have some tasty breakdowns on the next album!

  10. The owner of the Rehoboth DE stores told me the company that sends everything to the distributor (I think) screwed up big time and there were 12 releases he had no way of getting. Neither store got The Weeknd which is a pretty big one this year but he'll get some in soon. Piggy backing on what someone said for the cost of stock, apparently the profit margins for stores are really sad and basically not worth their time. I also wouldn't be surprised if BF RSD gets phased out as well. On the bright side VSQ's The Nightmare Before Christmas was only $20! Then Slipknot's 7" was $14....
  11. Last night I saw a license plate that said Peechez. More words need to start with pee.
  12. Does anyone else feel like SHP is scamming people with shipping? $13.50 media mail for 1 record and they claim it's because they have a carrier take it over the border to the US to ship it only through USPS. Yet they charge in USD so...? They're the only place to get the records (which I feel are also about $10 overpriced each based off the last press of Kezia) making it a tough buy. If my wife didn't want it for Christmas I definitely wouldn't have purchased these.
  13. Not exactly 100% relevant but it's worth mentioning that Run For Cover will have pay-what-you-want on Bandcamp for Black Friday for 24 hours only. They didn't list a time range so I'd expect midnight to midnight this Friday EST.

  15. $17 for 4 songs? I love Sergio & Donovan but the vinyl for this band has been stupid.
