He's a genius for this "living album" thing. I'm assuming every stream all counts as the same album. Streaming interest dies down... make a few tweaks/add a track and boom streams will pick right back up for a few weeks.

This band has become a laughingstock, sadly.

They've been waiting for this tour since the day they were born. Have some sympathy for these poor souls.

The only people I truly feel for are those that bought tickets off stub hub or whatever. I'm assuming there's no refunds on scalped tickets?

picked up a white copy in my local indie (that was also hosting one of those radiohead day things), they have lots of white copies.  Plays great with minimal noise, couple little dust pops here and there and maybe a minor pressing squelch but will have to relisten... dont care, great album that presents itself beautifully on vinyl.  
ps. why are people shitting on stlben for trading extras?  I traded with him and am happy with how it went down.  Two adults agreeing to a transaction that both feel is fair and honest.  chill out dudes.

It means you cannot contact the label for a replacement and you can pretty much bank on an indie store not having any extras sitting around to sort you out. So basically it means deal with it, dog.

Dude calm down.  I have bought 3 copies of this. One for me, one I traded on here to a guy that was very happy to get, and now a third one that I am once again offering on here.  I'll gladly trade it with anyone on here if we can work out a deal.

I called all my other indie stores and they didn't get em in, but yeah, that is the one that kinda screwed me over. Originally they told me it'd be out on a the 16th on the floor and then on the 15th they said "oh nope raffle" - it just sucks because we couldn't even preorder the indie edition, it was only for the standard black and CD, and I had already preordered the deluxe. Just was a bummer. 

To be fair, isn't the "local store" in question the giant Amoeba Music in the heart of Hollywood? 
Hard to blame them for making a fair raffle on such a limited release for such a high traffic store.

You haven't been able to get it yet?  Or do you mean you'll never be able to own any backup copies?

It's not enough to get an album you like for $1.  You have to maximize your ROI and show that you are serious about your portfolio.

ugg....Music Record Shop is litterally like 2 blocks from me and my LEAST favorite shop in town.  Locally it's the home of over priced records (IMO).

Yep, it is heading up to Canada shortly in a deal that I think both of us are pretty happy with?

Except it kinda does. Put it in the album in alphabetical order with the rest (after Present Tense, before Tinker Tailor...). It flows pretty nicely.
