    That was my first experience too. I was on a plane home after a very long trip and I figured it would be something I'd nod off too, that didn't happen at all. Grabbed my attention completely.

    I'm in a similar situation. The turntable on one side, records on the other. I usually just end up with 10-15 records that I'm listening a lot leaning against the wall by my turntable.

    I grew up someplace that very rarely had a touring act come by. So now that I live some place that does, I definitely try to take advantage of it when I can.

    I can't imagine using this regularly, but I know I'd use it once just to try it out. I was pretty excited when Amazon started doing the drop boxes at 7-11 and other places around the city, until I realized that it still takes regular shipping time to get them to the drop box. No idea why I wouldn't just have it delivered to my house at that point.

    Their Tumblr is gold, it seems to be entertaining no matter what they're doing on it.

    They state it's a German import, which is most likely why the price is that high. I can't imagine it'll be much cheaper anywhere else. Also, yes to this release.

    I love how so many of the websites for record cleaning products were probably designed in 1994 and never updated.

    Oh weird. I watched it around the time when it was posted and there was no issue. Sorry about the bum link, I didn't even think to check it. I wouldn't say it's something worth really tracking down, but worth watching if you come across it.

    I read somewhere that he was planning on doing 3 GBV LPs a year. I'm a little disappointed that it didn't happen this year, I feel like the 2012/2013 material had been overall pretty solid.

    He releases so much material, it's unbelievable. I was pretty stoked to get those. I'm really familiar with the GbV releases, but I haven't really immersed myself into the other Pollard projects.

    If you need more Silverman, the Susan 313 'unaired' pilot is pretty amusing. It's a little awkward, even for a pilot, but I liked it. There was a lot of talent on the show too, I think it could have become something really funny given some time. http://jash.com/susan-313-sarah-silverman/

    I don't put too much thought into that meter, I mainly like to check out what other people are listening to (and possibly poke fun at them for it).

    I don't think I've ever had my Discwasher damage a new record and I've had mine for 15+ years. You may have had different experiences with it, I'm not here to dispute that. I just wanted to state that I have yet to have an issue with using mine.
