I know everyone rags on picture discs, but I wanted this album and didn't want to spend $40ish for a deluxe version.  So I just the pic disc version for $20ish.

How about Girl Talk- Night Ripper? 
 
I don't really think that would ship... Amazon doesn't have any for sale from them or from other retailers.  But there are 9 copies all around $20 for sale on discogs.

So, I just ordered the new Avett Brothers record through BB.  It was $17.99 (which is the cheapest I've seen it anywhere).
 
But here's the kicker- it currently shows up as a 1-2 week backorder.  And according to the Avett's web store the vinyl is delayed a week or two.  It'll be hilarious if this cancels and gets me a code.

No.  Rick Rubin is amazing and knew exactly what he was doing with this band.  The last two albums have sounded amazing.

First off, this thread and contest is in tribute to the great Secular Haze who's been giving away tons of records.
 
So, last month the wonderful guys over at the Vinyl Word gave a bunch of records away.  I entered a few of the contests and happened to win a copy of Mikal Cronin's 'MCII.'  Obviously, I was stoked.  What I didn't know was that my wife had already ordered me a copy.  So now I have two.
 
So, I am paying this forward and giving away a still sealed copy.  I will also include a Merge records slip mat.
 
 
 
There are two requirements:
 
1. You can't be a jerk.  If you're a sexist, racist, homophobe, and/or generally a bad human, you can't enter.  (Obviously, I have no way of verify this, so its on the honor system.)

Seriously, how often do you guys listen to demos of any band more than once?  It always sounds like it'll be so cool, and then you listen to them, and realize WHY THEY WERE DEMOS IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Maybe.  But I think its probably more likely that the shows share a casting director or agency or something.

Yeah, this pretty much true.  12ish X 4 = 48ish.
 
So, its a pretty standard price point.  The bundle doesn't save you a ton of money.  The 'In the Clouds...' are all pressed on white, so its not limited or anything.
 
So, not a bad deal, and you'd probably save on shipping, but not a killer deal either.

Yeah, so I wanted to buy this and was refreshing my page like a crazy person at 12:00 EST.  But by the time I could add it to my cart, I kinda felt like I'd regret paying $65 for a record and a show I couldn't go to.  After reading through this craziness, happy I didn't buy it.
