  1. I know that my local record store is waiting for a batch of newly pressed records with corrected c-side to show up just about now. So error free records are probably obtainable already now many place.
  2. The site was stalling for a while, but I got one. Didn't take as long to get through as when Wolverine Blues went up.
  3. Awesome. Only Candiria vinyl I've got is 'Surrealistic Madness', so I would definitely like to see some more of their recordings on vinyl.
  4. According to the Southern Lord FB page, there are 1000 copies each of the white and red versions. The other 900 white will go up elsewhere, if anyone wants to wait it out. Southern Lord Recordings 'we sold only 100 of the white through the site. The other 900 are out there in the world at finer stores everywhere.'
  5. The final receipt I got for the order of a red copy clearly states 'sunn200LPred' in the product ID column, so if you put red in your cart, you will get red when you check out.
  6. So, what was the tracklist for 'Petitioning...' - the three live tracks omitted or included?
  7. It wasn't there when i checked them the first time, but now the Kingsroad EU page says 500 blue copies and 1000 cokebottle clear.
  8. The sleeve looks as if it's modeled after a couple of Death in June releases from before Douglas P. completely adopted the neofolk sound, mainly on the DI6 'Burial' album and his EP's from the early 90's. Closeups of statues combined with circular logos were definitely his thing at that point.
  9. Has it been mentioned anywhere if this pressing is made from new plates? That tracklist from the Kingsroad Merch. link shows 'Petitioning the Empty Sky' to include the three live tracks that were left off the old version and put on a bonus 7".
  10. Mine is very, very pink. This certainly hasn't lowered my expectations for the upcoming album.
  11. Got one a couple of days ago. Both discs black vinyl. Surface noise all over the place & poor bass sound. I wouldn't recommend shelling out money for this. You're better off with the cd. The only upside is that there are bonus tracks from various other editions of the album tacked onto the c- and d-sides.
  12. Same here, but with those prices I'd rather find something else to spend my money on instead.
  13. In general, most of the KISS records I like are from the original period of the band wearing makeup. But the exception to that rule is 'Revenge', which is probably among my absolute favorites. I'd be all over the reissue if I hadn't picked it up when the album came out. After that I found the numbered blue marble version dirt cheap at a clearance sale in the late 90's. Crazy luck, but nobody cared for KISS vinyl at that point it seemed like. Psycho Circus also makes sense to press, but most of those other albums really don't need to.
  14. It's weird that it never came out. I kept waiting for it to be released, since it was no trouble picking up 'Frengers' at a local Danish store, ready on the release date when that was made. They should also do 'A Triumph for Man' and 'Half the World is Watching me' since these also need to see vinyl releases, and there would be plenty of bonus tracks to include from the reissued 2006/2007 cd-versions.
  15. Don't worry about Unless You Try. They are solid. Just got the 'Astray' lp from them yesterday and have only had good experiences with UYT previously. Shoot them a mail if you need to know when it shipped. They are very responsive.
  16. 'To Ride...' is the only one I don't have, so I'd definitely get it at some point. Not sure if I'd rebuy the other two for the bonus tracks, even though 'Uprising' is a very cool album. I think the main reason for 'Same Difference' being so different from the rest of their material was Nicke Andersson leaving the band to focus on The Hellacopters. Entombed had to find a new style without his input. I remember reading an interview in a Danish metal zine around the release of 'Same Difference' that some of the songs had working titled like 'Melvinish' and 'Helmet 1' / 'Helmet 2'. The songwriting gives off a certain AmRep vibe, but that said, it's still not a very good album as they don't pull it off all that well.
  17. I like the album, but listening to that song is worse than crunching ice cubes with your teeth.
  18. Don't worry about that - skipping the toilet paper is at least as - if not even more - metal than the Crusades album! I've had 'Perhaps You Deliver...' for a week or so now. The previous Crusades stuff were instant hits, but this took some time to grow on me. Might end up as my favorite. (On another note the label artwork on the lp kind of works like lp-releases from Funky Ass Records, where the spindle goes straight through the butt cheeks, when you put the record on the turntable. Perhaps there are more similarities between Kool Keith and Crusades that I haven't discovered yet?)
  19. Printed innersleeves will still get ripped. Plain white ones are preferrable, of course.
