I asked this same question a couple months ago, the consensus seemed to be the marantz 6004 is worth spending the extra for over the 5004, and also sounds better/warmer than the yamaha which was overly bright and tended to cause ear fatigue. Unfortunately for you I ended up buying a Marantz 2385 so I can't do much more besides repeat what was conveyed to me. So I'm looking into buying a second setup, this time with all new components because as much fun as vintage stuff is it's frustrating how often it needs to be maintained. I'm getting a Debut Carbon and the Wharfedale 10.1s with Sanus BF-24B stands. Both of these receivers seem pretty similar to me and they're currently the same price on amazon so I was hoping to get some input on the pros/cons on which receiver would be better for this setup to help me make a decision.

These dudes are killer live. Supposedly there's a DVD being put together of footage from the NO tour, maybe released in conjunction with the new LP. If I recall correctly it's the same guy/guys who did the Blood, Sweat, and Vinyl release. It would be nice to have something higher quality than YouTube.

The new stuff was more like Bees Made Honey with a bit more aggression in the tone. He did say at this point nothing is set in stone but I quite enjoyed it.

Caught their last show in Seattle and they played four new tracks, pretty awesome stuff. Gives me pretty high expectations for their next album which they said should be due in June.

So I just got shipping notification from amazon.de, guess it's no longer delayed.

I would imagine it's about exactly what it says. An abnormal amount of complaints were made about defective audio so they're checking it out. My brown sounds awesome, hopefully everyone who is experiencing issues gets them resolved because they need to hear this at its full potential.

Also is the tour edition die cut like the record release variant? Couldn't quite tell from the picture. Man I have the memory of a goldfish. Either way all I need now is that test, love this record.
