  1. yes dude! i host the punk show at wicb at ithaca college... apparently its one of the biggest college stations in the nation.. anyway, i'll totally play your records! pm me!
  2. thanks everybody! definitely gonna play some of these tonight... and keep em coming!
  3. yes sir! you can go to http://wicb.org/ every monday night at 9! thanks for the suggestion.
  4. i host a punk show at my college radio station and consistently fear that my playlist each week is based too heavily on my own tastes.. i always play new music sent to the station from labels/bands, but the rest is from my own collection, and i think ive played btmi! on the show for the past 3 weeks straight. so please, if anyone wants any band or song they love (whether it be local or national!) to be played on the biggest college station in the country, request away! new would be nice but classics are always appreciated! thanks!
  5. since this is the only message board i post on (although rarely), i figured id post this question.. plus, i had a feeling id get some helpful answers. so i wanna start this project, as of right now i think itll be a book. its gonna be a fake journal, and each page will be like a notebook page. everything will be hand written, drawn, and colored. think that kurt cobain journal.. except ya know.. not real. i only have experience with scanning work into my computer as a means to post it online. i was wondering if for those of you who had experience doing something like this (maybe a zine) would have any tips for me in regards to formatting and printing this in a cheap yet nice looking fashion. this seems pretty vague now that ive written it all out, but i guess im looking for maybe a guide online to how to produce your own book/zine, with an emphasis on scanning all the materials and using a program like photoshop to make it look good.. and the finally the printing and producing process. any help is greatly appreciated! thanks!

  10. although the idea of instantly winning 4,000 was pretty fun to think about, i think this approach is a lot more practical/awesome. i'm excited to see the results!
  11. i thought it was pretty funny. cartman had some good lines (which are all escaping me now) and i know it may seem old by now, but i love trey's michael jackson. especially coming from ike. one of my roommates thought they played it too safe. he was expecting it to be super-twisted, given the plotline and all. but its still better than pinewood derby. that was a fucking stinker.
  12. i went to this panel at sdcc and it was one of the best of the weekend.. not only did they show that long-ass trailer (twice!) but they showed two exclusive scenes... one of a courtroom scene where tony stark has a pretty funny argument/conversation with gary shandling (!!!)... and another with don cheadle (replacing terrence howard) buying weapons for his war machine outfit from the awesome sam rockwell. it was really fucking awesome. cant wait for this movie!!
  13. i read an interview with sam raimi a couple of years ago where he said they would either make an evil dead 4 with bruce or remake evil dead with a whole new cast... unfortunately, i think they were leaning towards the latter. although im not convinced how bad-ass ash could really be at 50.

  15. sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! westbound train was top on my list for bands who NEED to be on vinyl. here's hoping for an LP!
  16. yeah! i have like 5 or six pieces ive gotten over a couple of months.. but the fact that i more-than-doubled my collection by spending only ONE day on the floor at the con.. got me really excited. stoked to go to the con in ny this october.
  17. i got into collecting art a couple of weeks ago (mostly from comic artists and cartoonists) and i think its an awesome hobby. like records, the hunt is awesome, and the prize is wholly original - one of one! most of my collection so far was from the san diego comic con last week.. heres some of the stuff i grabbed! a sweet batman from eric talbot (works regularly on TMNT comics) ash from the evil dead trilogy by the awesome chris moreno maybe my favorite snatch from the con.. cherry darling from planet terror by one of my favorite artists.. katie cook. a 30 second sketch from bill morrison (main guy behind simpson comics) of my favorite character hans moleman! steve ellis (artist of high moon) did this sick werewolf/batman there was an artist promoting her new comic for image.. she gave me a packet which i thought was full of stickers.. only to find this really sick free sketch in there when i got home! hope she gets big so i can find out her name! an awesome "gory hulk" from chris burnham.. i was one of his first commissions so i scored this for only $25! hopefully ill be able to post more soon! anybody else have anything cool?
  18. went to the san diego comic con this week and they showed an ultra long trailer for this in 3D... with all the really gory parts. it was insane! i cant see myself sitting through 90 minutes of it... but the clips i saw were awesome/gory/hilarious!
  19. would also like to take the unpopular position by saying that warning device is their best studio album.
