my favorite movie of 2009 by a long shot. it reminded me most of bottle rocket, which is my favorite wes anderson movie. and the animation is amazing.

i was bummed that jane lynch left at the end of season 1.. it was the first time she wasn't playing an angry lesbian and it was my favorite character on the show. but yeah, this show rules. the cameos are great. and its fills the emptiness ive had since v-mars got canceled. cant wait till kristen bells return!

yeah that was killing me! i knew i recognized the scene, and i was trying to cull through a bunch of movies in my head. and when i heard someone mention it today, it clicked instantly. real cool.

yeah they got fucked on this episode. i have a feeling that comedy central ended up censoring every "muhammad", but that maybe the "what have we learned today" segment (which has become a staple in the series) was bleeped intentionally by the creators as a joke against censorship. but if not... im REALLY fucking curious what they could have said in that segment which would warrant complete censorship. all in all.. good episode for the fans. my roommates and i were trying to keep up with all the references (and i totally called the broncos reveall!) but i just wished comedy central wouldn't fucking puss out again. its actually an extremely important issue. TERRORISTS WON!

digging it so far. the shorebirds lp is one of my favorite albums of all time so this hasnt really reached that status yet... but its far less depressing!

i havent been there in a couple of years since i went to college but the venue was alright then. the staff is pretty aggressive, and theres always a couple of kids kicked out because of moshing too hard or stage diving. ive seen a bunch of fights involving the bouncers, and at one of the last ASOB shows, JT had to jump into the audience to break up a fight between a bouncer and his friend. im pretty sure the train station is pretty close, but i might be confusing that with the downtown, a venue that closed down a couple of years ago. hope i was of some help!
