I own Ella Fitzgerald: Mack The Knife - Ella In Berlin and it's awesome. Definitely recommend it and it's pretty easy to find at a good price.

Yeah, I love Cycles. I'd rather have Cycles than this, but I hope this opens the door for that being pressed. I'll do with this one what I did with Chroma, buy this now, enjoy it, and sell it when the band releases theirs and grab it from them.

I ended up grabbing the Marantz PM5005, and I'm really loving that in combination with the Music Hall mmf-2.2. Thank all of you for all of your help and suggestions, I've really learned a lot! Now I'll upgrade from the low level speakers I have around Christmas and hopefully really notice the change then. I have a feeling this is going to be a very dumb question but I'm going to ask anyway, if not here, then where, right? I have an RCA to 3.5mm cable, would I damage my amp if I plugged that in to the CD input and played an ipod? I would think it should be fine, but I wanted to ask and make sure before doing something dumb.

Looking at the Marantz PM5005 and PM6005, does anyone know if there is a real difference in the amp part of these? I'm seeing 40 watts vs 45 in the 6005, but otherwise the only difference appears to be the DAC. For $500 I think I'd rather have a new 5005 than a refurbed 6005 just for the warranty alone if there isn't much of a difference between the two. I don't have a need for the DAC.

Ok, now I'm confused haha The top post said to stay away from amps with a built in phono input because they are lower quality. So I thought I needed to go with both apre-amp and an amp. But that's not the case? If I get a higher quality amp with a built in phono input I should be good and not need a pre-amp?
