We live in the Internet age, I hate to say it but companies know how to angle a product accordingly. Some smaller labels don't have the means to make "big" RSD releases and can only offer special albums and discounts via their online storefront. It creates a type kind of inclusion with the 'event' for them and fans of the label, even though it's the exact opposite of (take your ass to a physical) Record Store Day.
Also I don't think stores should be victimized, especially when we see them adding additional mark-ups to RSD releases as well as setting a few aside specifically for online sales. We all just have to face the fact that this shit isn't at all what it used to be and probably won't return to that anytime soon. We only have one defense: buy what you like, ignore the ridiculous shit, and hope that hobbyist go away and these inane reissues and soundtracks soon follow. It'll happen eventually.

I don't know about a penalty or anything now, but it should definitely be explicitly stated that photos in the thread are a requirement for participation moving forward. Not a good feeling seeing everyone else show off their stuff and your person not taking a minute to do the same.

Are you kidding?! The coffee was more than enough! I'm a teacher so anytime I don't have to buy coffee for a few weeks is a huge win for me! I've spun the AFI so many times over the past 3 weeks my needle may have dug a new groove into the record haha, the FYS is one of my favorite pop-punk albums and uhhhh sleep pants and gym shorts, it's literally the way to my heart!
My advice is, even if the genre isn't your cup of tea here, enjoy the ride and stick it out. You can be the vocal 1950's vocal genre that this forum needs.

Finally getting the repress of 40 Oz and Robbin the Hood in motion. Took a little longer than expected but I'm hoping to have both out in the Spring sometime. Obviously I will make a thread for those releases once we get a bit closer to them actually coming out. I have no other info to give out for now.
