  1. yeah but like if the captain just wanted to kill any old sperm whale that there are thousands of it wouldn't have been a very interesting story
  2. i've literally paid $12 for a 330ml bottle of canadian club & dry before but yeah we do make good wages. i'm on like $23 at my entry level retail job, shit owns
  3. I'm wondering if anyone here has a copy of Diamond Mine by King Creosote & Jon Hopkins. For some reason the only ones that ever come up for sale are in the hundreds of dollars but they never sell. I don't know what I'm willing to offer but if you have it and would be willing to sell PM me and maybe we can sort something out. I live in Australia and am totally willing to cover all the p&h costs cheers
  4. This is how things are in Australia etc Sucks that it is bad for international markets, and it's bad here too. Still the cheapest option though because CDs are usually $20 and records are $35+
  5. Lateralus by Tool, This Is The Warning & The Catalyst Fire by Dead Letter Circus, Heritage (clear vinyl), Damnation (clear vinyl) & Ghost Reveries (red vinyl) by Opeth based in australia, lowish starting prices
  6. don't give up guy, sometimes dreams do come true my "white whale" at the moment is probably just spiral circus. there hasn't been a reasonable auction for it for aaaaaaages
  7. el cielo by dredg is probably my best impulse buy so far (i liked what i'd heard from leitmotif but hadn't listened to el cielo in full), worst impulse buy was probably fade by cloudkicker. artwork is awesome, music is forgettable and no one wants to buy it off me
  8. i'm studying my masters in architecture, i like renzo piano's stuff. favourite building is the farnsworth house maybe
  9. a lot of this stuff has sold already, maybe depending on what you want
  10. Selling a few cool things because I need money more than I need plastic music discs: Red Dead Redemption OST The Mars Volta - Amputechture Angus & Julia Stone - Down The Way I'm from Australia so postage is steep but our dollar sucks at the moment so it's probably a good chance for you foreigners if you need any of these. Hopefully they are reasonable starting prices
  11. this has been pre-orderable for months, it's actually been released and is shipping as of like 6 weeks ago. they just hadn't updated the page yet for some reason
  12. bumping to add: The only records from here I'll consider mailing by themselves are Dream Theater, Aphex Twin and the Japanese Bowie/Crimson albums. If you're from Australia and want 2 or 3, I'll be happy to ship them then
  13. I have bought a fair few records in the last couple of years, and now that the honeymoon phase is over I am starting to regret a lot of my impulse purchases. I can't fit any more on my shelf and these are the things I've mostly only listened to once or twice and never touched again. The World | 0343-1 | Red vinyl | 2013 repress Prices will depend on what you want, but I will probably let most of it go for $10-20 a piece (some of the older stuff, maybe cheaper again). Ideally I'd really prefer to sell to people who live in Brisbane so I don't have to dick around with postage; our postage rates are ridiculous and most of them probably aren't worth sending through the mail because odds are it'll more than double the price (plus I don't have many mailers). If you're interested, shoot me a PM and we can organise prices and all that good stuff. I can also take photos and record audio samples if that is a thing you require. All of these are in at least listenable condition and none of the covers are horribly destroyed or anything. thanks
