You should also be able to stack a 15% off coupon with this since the initial discount is already applied across the non-PV shop. Try 15PTLHAVASU and see if it works.
Thanks! Just copped Hum’s Inlet for $25

I only bought one too. Had I known it was going to be a $300 item, I would have bought a few extra myself. Surprisingly, 2 kids aren't cheap these days. 🤑
I imagine the people buying these at these prices are going to regret it when they see the pressing numbers...assuming it really is somewhere near 15,000

The first comment on Discogs. I'm still having a hard time with all of this fluffy marketing copy. It's, at this point, pretty fucking deceptive.
And that "10 page booklet" felt like a legit slap in the face.
Recorded in the modern-legendary Rhode Island studio Machines with Magnets, Seth Manchester manages to capture the sound of a room, the sound of machines and the sound of existence in an invitation to meditation. The piece on side A borrows from Cage’s 4’33”, demanding attention to the sound around you. Manchester captures the sound of guitar amplifiers, body movement and room resonance masterfully, making the listener feel transported to the room.
Side B, on its double groove, presents an interpretation of Nothing’s 2010 demo played back in the live room, melted into a beautiful resonated drone.
While this record may not be what most Nothing fans expected from a celebration of Nothing’s ten year successful career, it is a daring project that questions the meaning of music and sound, while being appropriate to the bands name - this is what Nothing sounds.I thought the 10 page booklet was hilarious as hell. Really the only joy I've received from this release thus far.

Don’t look for music on these records.

The new Blushing album keeps getting better with every lesson. Will be hard to imagine that it won’t be one of the best Shoegaze albums of the year for me.

Devotion vies with Bloom for #1 in my head but honestly I'd put Teen Dream like....fifth
I’m with you on Bloom probably being my #1. Interesting that Teen Dream is that far low on your list.
it’s difficult for me to rank them. I can safely say their self-titled is my least favorite although that doesn’t mean I don’t really like it.
depression Cherry is one for me where the highlights are some of their best stuff but the lows are kind of forgettable.

Very cool (even though truth be told I preferred Let’s Walk on the Path of a Blue Cat . . .).
Same here.

S/T for sure! A bunch of great songs, but the first side is bananas. So dreamy, so good. Teen Dream is terrific too though.
Edit: there is definitely a bit of nostalgia goggles ties to s/t for me since I was listening to it constantly in my early 20s during a really formative time musically, and generally.
Fair enough. Just so many people like Devotion and Teen Dream that I had to ask.

First 2 albums still GOATs, but I "celebrate their entire catalogue," as they say.
You think their self titled is one of their GOATs? Or do you mean Devotion and Teen Dream?

I actually really liked TYLS and Depression Cherry. 7 didn't really make much of an impact on me I guess, because I can't remember a single song off it right now. I've always gotten excited for new Beach House though.
This was a really tough one to hold out on listening to, but I made it! It's here!
My opinion of 7 waxes and wanes in their discography but one thing is for certain…Dark Spring is one of the best songs they’ve ever written.

I think it was sold out by 10am or so when my friend sent me the link. I almost bought the regular version but listened to it and don’t think this is something I need to own. I haven’t listened to their first album in like 10 years or however old it is.
Yeah I didn’t even get the email until 10:17 so I wonder how people like your friend knew about it

Liz dropped a new Raum album today: https://grouper.bandcamp.com/album/daughter
The special edition (gold leaf on insert) sold out before I even knew it was up. The only difference is the insert though.
Yeah it was sold out before they even sent the Bandcamp email. Either there were like 10 editions or people got advanced notice elsewhere
but yeah I wasn’t too heartbroken when I saw it was just a different insert

And I can't believe I just spent $20 on a 7".

Mondaze was the band that got me into the "newgaze" trend now, actually. It seems to be 100% by-the-book, but i enjoy it.
Here's another one that seems to be slipping by everyone (unless you all did it when it came out haha). My girlfriend loves this band, and I agree - they're great. New stuff is a radical departure in sound though, and not to my taste whatsoever.
Absolutely with you on Narrow Head. Love their debut but could not get into their newest record.

I each that verbatim with Blushing, hah. I’ll go back and check out which album of theirs I tried – fairly certain it was the latest – but just out of curiosity, would you have a recommendation?
They’ve only had one before the new one. It was their 2019 Self titled. Great album. I love what I hear from their new one but haven’t heard it all obviously.

Damn. Different strokes / folks, perhaps. Though I will say that it sounds like you probably tried out Mondaze more than I've spent time with Blushing. I need to remedy that sooner than later.
I'll probably come around eventually. It's not that I dislike them. I guess nothing is just really jumping out at me. Could be a product of a lot of people hyping them up.

I haven’t been completely sold on Blushing yet but this is an outstanding list of newgaze that I click with. Hope you tried out that Mondaze record from last month, too.
This is interesting because I’m completely sold on Blushing and I haven’t been completely sold on Mondaze yet. And it’s not from a lack of trying.

If you order from Quiet Panic’s store, do they send you a download after purchase?

There is no bad record so regardless of which one you choose it’ll be good.
Capacity is probably more similar to Masterpiece than their other work. U.F.O.F. Is a very Earthy and chill album and the self titled song is probably my favorite song of theirs. Two Hands is a bit more rockin’ than most of their work.
