Good luck, sir. Been here for half a year and can't even breach 100. Also, it's interesting to hear people's xmas traditions on here, since all I was really accustomed to were my own growing up. I feel fortunate, I'm 27 years old and still carry the same childish traditions with my parents and sister, even though I do not live with them. No matter what you do this holiday season, I hope everyone finds happiness

got a few records from my GF, sister and dad: radiohead - hail to the thief, green day - rookie, lil wayne - carter 2, radiohead - pablo honey. assorted gift cards for groceries & mall. pair of clark's boots. super hyped on the records because they just go out and boy things they feel I enjoy and always do well. love it.

Haha, makes me wonder if any of my friends have ever done that. I'm really bad at chugging beer… real bad. I've down 7 seconds on a keg stand and that's it, my personal best… So how's everyones xmas eve? I received a few records today from my sister and father, giving them a listen while drinking some beer my GF bought me. Its well past midnight and I have my house to myself because my GF lives out of town, blasting Radiohead - Hail to the Thief record. Happy holidays to you all

combined from my GF, sister and mom I got a couple for xmas: radiohead - hail to the thief red hot chill peppers - californication green day - dookie (for classic childhood measure)

- spent hours shovelling and scraping off cars (snowstorm all weekend followed by freezing rain today, plenty of cleaning to do) + mine and my girlfriend's car are drivable now. + a neighbor i helped shovel offered me homemade eggnog afterwards - I'm severely lactose intolerant. i simply will not tolerate lactose. + got to open my xmas gifts from my girlfriend, got some records and scotch. - my girlfriend went home for xmas, she is from another city, so i am spending xmas alone at the apartment, but its relaxing. + now that the good deeds and "yard work" is done, I'm having scotch and listening to some records I got for xmas

Major bummer. My copy of Yeezus turned out perfect in all aspects, so I just assumed this would be another walk in the park order. I'm assuming I'll be getting mine soon, however I ordered the black copy, so we'll see if these complaints are consistent… I'm somewhat worried now :S

I think it is appropriate to give this thread a bump considering the time of year. Anyone get any scores lately? I know liquor is a common gift for many. My girlfriend and I opened gifts today because she goes away for xmas and she got me a variety box of a bunch of local beer and also Glenfiddich 12 and Courvoisier (cognac) and other liquors. Just poured a glass of glenfiddich. mmm

I know many of you guys start your holiday vacation today and have to endure those last hours on a friday, hang in there. I just finished for the holidays. 2 weeks off, xmas shopping done, 30 bottles of wine corked a few days ago, fender mustang due to arrive in a few days… here we go.

We are having our first major storm of the year, so far it looks like 15 cm of snow and no sign of stopping. Most stores are closed today with exception to the record store down the street from me. best believe I trekked thru the snow to grab a few. Now I am off to a pub with massive windows surrounding it. It's a tradition for me and some friends to go there during the first storm of the year. It looks amazing to sit by these windows and observe the snow.
