Excuse my ignorance... but what is the deal with this album that people pay upwards of $500 for it?

In, so in!!! Massive fan of these guys... (I'm in the US) Added extra: Here's a photo of the guys out on my boat when they were in town for a show last year. They were doing two nights in a row... After the show on the first night, I had a few drinks, introduced myself to them and ended up hanging out. I figured I'd see if they wanted to go for a sail the next day and they were all really keen, Chris, Jeff and Goose ended up coming out... They are all really nice guys.

I bought this copy off ebay from rndistribution (http://www.ebay.com/itm/360856739333?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649), I figured at that price, why not! The guy has been selling a black and a glow in the dark version, and selling a lot of them. I was wondering if they were a new batch flooding the market, or this guy just got hold of a whole bunch from somewhere... Runouts on the vinyl are DEAF1, DEAF2, etc. The sound is fine, sounds like the CD master... the only thing I could notice is that it was lacking a little in low end. Both vinyl came in white sleeves, the insert is only printed on one side (the car interior shot) and it is a pretty tight squeeze to fit everything inside the jacket. Not bad overall for $30ish... Anyway, I figured I may as well put some pics up, it may be of interest.

Saw them live again last night, probably the best out of all three times I've seen them. It was the first show for them in a while, so the whole band was firing. Diamond Eyes Rocket Skates Be Quiet and Drive My Own Summer RX Queen Rosemary Change Tempest Swerve City Engine No. 9 7 Words Ears still ringing. My only disappointment was a lack of anything off SNW.

I really hope that will also include being able to purchase s/t and Watch Out! separately.... fingers crossed.

I ordered the S/T just after Christmas, got a shipping confirmation email a day later. They supplied a tracking number, but it was bogus (9452110200793954166675). The record arrived 7 days later. The record was in perfect condition, it was shipped in a good mailer, but was packed loosely, just one sheet of bubble wrap stuck in the mailer, which was a bit over sized for the size of the record. Sorry to hear about all the trouble people are having, it's a circus. The address on the packing slip is 9139 Oviedo St, Suite 200, San Diego and phone number 858 735 0266... If they aren't replying to emails, maybe they'll answer the phone.
