New track is nice. Sister Cities didn't have much staying power for me. I'm hoping this record is a return to form. Bummer that they didn't announce it today.

Paying through PayPal/Shipstation. $3.82 has been the price of my two most recent labels. Both for single LPs, no added insurance. Now that you mention buying through Discogs, I remember definitely seeing the increased cost through Discogs and then going directly to my PayPal account and buying shipping labels through that instead. Obviously, I'm not saving much, but if you're moving a lot of LPs through Discogs, it might add up for you. Or help you lower shipping cost for your buyers.

Both variants sold out on the site. Side note: I was glad to see the media mail shipping price drop. I think my last couple orders from Triple B had a ~$7 media mail charge.

This came in on Friday, which was awesome to have on release day. Went to spin it today, but unfortunately, it skipped so, so badly. I don't think it's my turntable. I'm gonna give it a clean and hope that helps.

Yeah, even in my conversations with people now, there's way more discussion on streaming numbers and stuff. That's trickled down from majors to indie labels over the last few years it seems. Although with Apple Music, at least, I believe that if you upload MP3s into your library and sync it, it'll essentially connects your MP3s to the streaming platform. I could be wrong about that, but that's how I've interpreted it. Not sure about Spotify.

End of an era for sure. I'm seeing more and more of that with my purchases too. I've also seen small independent labels on social media asking if people use them, and the response is usually majority no.

Got my BV variant in today. 1. This is the first time in a long while I got an LP on release day (or before). 2. The variant is fantastic, looks really great, can't wait to spin.
